The Double-Sided lamination Adapter (DSA) extends the capabilities of our dry-film laminators to include double-sided lamination. Unlike other lamination systems that constrain the user to short rolls of film on proprietary core sizes, all our machines are capable of using production length (50', 100', 500' and 1,000') photopolymer films and pressure sensitive transfer adhesives. These films are commonly available on rolls that range in diameter from 4" to 12" (typically on 3" and 6" dia. plastic cores).

Although designed for the printed circuit industry, the DSA is also used to laminate pressure sensitive adhesives to labels and magnetic signs at the same time that they are being encapsulated in UV blocking protective laminating films. Combined with the standard 3 roll capacity of our HRL laminators, the additional station of the DSA allows the simultaneous use of 4 independently controlled rolls of film.
